🚴‍♂️🎊This past week the 3rd Graders at Chandler School combined their passion for cycling with charity to raise funds for 16 bicycles! The students organized the Bike Rodeo all by themselves after learning about the long and dangerous walk students in developing countries must make every day.

Christian Daly, the Field deputy of LA County Supervisor Kathryn Barger, praised the children for the great example they have set to help others in need. He presented them with an award for their philanthropy!
Thank you to the Pasadena Independent for covering the event and interviewing the students!

Thank you to the the 3rd Graders at Chandler for making a difference in the lives of students in need through the power of bicycles! Through their direct efforts, 16 boys and girls at a school in Kenya and Tanzania will be able to get to school safely, quickly and consistently. Students helping students thousands of miles away, how amazing is that?!

If you know of a school or student that wants to be involved in our Young Philanthropist Program, let us know!
