News from our previous delivery to the Matungu Community Development Charity in Kenya!
Here is an update from the founder, Atitwa Washika Vincent:
“Great brother, thanks for your endless support, I am humbled seeing girls ride bicycles to school everyday day, some as far 8 kilometers a day to and fro school.
During this holiday most use the bicycle to get water from the river, travel to markets, hospitals and other ferry farm inputs to the garden. The bicycles brought tremendous change to families using them and honor to us and our organization. Bicycles traversing our villages started from one idea from Bikes 4 Orphans to 45 actions from our community through the bicycles.
#BuffaloBicycles are powerful, strong and durable with a great impact in the girls education and the entire families hosting the bicycle.”
In addition, the Matungu Community Development Charity does incredible work for the youth in Kenya:
“Most youth have been trained in business entrepreneurship skills. We are distributing staple fortified flours to orphans and children below five years who are malnourished. We also target care takers/givers of orphans in our activities. Bicycles still remain relevant here, where youth need to access better markets for their products (easy mobility for both farm products and farmers). Distribution of staple composite where it’s needed most and on time, still the bicycle will do a good deal. Small business people need to move fast to look for products for selling for better profits and income for their families.”
Thank you to all our supports for making this possible for these children! We are changing lives!
