We met Jina Gonzales today to discuss this week's event on the 21st. Jina manages the Resilient Scholars program at California State University, Northridge. Their mission is to empower former #foster youth through higher education, and their program is committed to helping students exit the foster care system successfully.
Jina told us some unbelievable stories and struggles of the foster children that she works with. It is inspiring to see someone so passionate and devoted to caring for others. Her stories make this whole event even more special.
